Reporting Bill Shields

For The Ladies

LUNENBURG (CBS) – A small dog in Lunenburg is recovering after a near-death experience.

The pup was playing in her yard, when out of nowhere a Red-Tailed Hawk swooped down, snagged her, and took off.

WBZ-TV’s Bill Shields reports

The hawk dropped Molly in the neighbor’s yard with serious wounds from its claws.  To make matters worse, the fall left her with a dislocated hip.

But four blood transfusions and some 50 stitches later, Molly is back home recovering.

What’s even stranger, a week before Molly was attacked, a Chihuahua-mix just down the road suffered the same fate. That dog is also doing better.

the actual life saving Dr. was Dr. Melissa J. Sulin of Fallon animal clinic of Lunenburg. Dr. sulin provided 3 hours of emergency life saving care before transfering Molly to Nashua hospital.. .Dr Sulin was first to care for Molly

HOOTDATS if you don’t have anything better to do with your time to showing how insensitive you are to the suffering endured by these dogs and their families, I suggest you don’t take up space on this page.
