Paul Perillo of Patriots Football Weekly joined Felger & Massarotti to talk about the New England Patriots 1st round pick and what other moves the Patriots may make before the draft ends.

With the 17th overall pick, the Patriots chose Nate Solder. Solder is a 6’8″, 319lbs. offensive lineman from Colorado.

Is the sun still shining down at Foxboro after their pick? Were there no good pass rushers available at 17? With all the picks that Pats have, how come the Pats didn’t take a gamble?

Will the Patriots attempt to trade their 33rd pick?

At what point do the Patriots start planning for the post-Tom Brady and Bill Belichick era?

  1. TheGOAT says:

it costs money to sign a first rounder………..still, do we always have to trade down………..sure, we got a first rounder for next year, but we’ll trade down that one too.

AND, ESPECIALLY, why couldn’t we use our 7th rounder on BC’ Herszloick
