BOSTON (CBS) – Boston police are looking for a missing 22-year-old UMass Boston student.

Brendan Davis was last seen at Jacob Wirth bar in downtown on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.  His mom tells WBZ-TV he did send a text message to a friend that night saying he had made it home. Police are trying to find out what happened next.

Davis is about six-foot-three and weighs about 180 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. Davis lives in Back Bay and works for Costal Container.

His parents, who live in Colorado, have flown to Boston to try and help locate him.

My thoughts and prayers are with Brenden’s family for his safe return. Someone must of seen him since Tusday night, please let the authorities know.
Brenden is a good kid and being out of contact is out of character for him. If anyone knows anything or has heard anything please let the Police know.

These type student disappearances happen at times when there has bee intense study, at midterms or finals. There is a long list of them.

Remember Brian Shaffer, Maura Murray, Michael Negrete, Justin Gains, Josh Guimond, and last month Devon Minor.

Some recover and return in from a few days to many months. A student who disappeared in New Orleans last month was found wandering the French Quarter three days later. But he was so mentally disturbed he could not return to LSU.

A Presbyterian College student was found after three months when he tried to enter Canada without a passport.

Parents and authorities make the mistake of assuming the student is in a normal mental state. If he had the mental break that Subliminal Distraction causes he would have amnesia and might be hiding out of delusional fear of pursuit. A few of these students have contacted family believing that someone was chasing them.

If he does not return quickly the search area should be expanded to anywhere he could travel with out papers.

There are other cases going back fifty years at VisionAndPsychosis_Net.
