MT. WASHINGTON (CBS) – Officials have safely located a missing snowboarder on Mt. Washington Monday afternoon.

The man, 32-year-old Jean-Francois Maggicette from the province of Quebec, Canada, was found safe Monday afternoon.

The man’s brother-in-law originally reported him missing at around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

A U.S. National Guard helicopter assisted crews with New Hampshire Fish and Game, the Appalachian Mountain Club, and the U.S. Forest and Mountain Rescue Service in the search.
