SUDBURY (CBS) – A young man has been arrested and charged with stealing a bronze alligator sculpture worth $14,000.
The gator was taken last Friday from a yard in Sudbury. Police tracked it down six days later at a scrap metal recycling center in Everett, where it had reportedly been sold for $400.
Then, late Friday morning, officers arrested 23-year-old Collins Boland of Sudbury while he was at work in Chelsea.
He's charged with larceny over $250 and wanton destruction of property. Both are felonies.
