Easter Weekend Weather Forecast: Rain Saturday, Better Sunday

By Terry Eliasen, Meteorologist, WBZ-TV Exec. Weather Producer

BOSTON (CBS) – There’s not much change to the Easter forecast.

You can expect a rainy Saturday, with steady rain falling in the morning and early afternoon. It should taper somewhat in the evening.

Check: Current Conditions | Weather Map Center | Interactive Radar

The front then stalls to our south on Sunday throwing some clouds our way, especially south of the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Most of the rain should stay south of New England but we cannot rule out a passing sprinkle or shower at times.

Watch Barry Burbank’s forecast:

Morning Mass: Increasing sunshine, temperatures in the 40’s to 50’s late morning

Midday Egg Hunt: Partly sunny, 50-to-55 degrees.

Late Afternoon Dinner: Intervals of sun and clouds, low to mid 60’s. More clouds to the south, more sun to the north, scattered sprinkle.

Why Is it that the weather forecaster keeps giving the weather for when we are going to Mass on Easter Sunday? While many of us, including me, go to Mass, many go to services in other faith traditions. How about some inclusion of all people’s faith traditions?

How about the people that don’t buy into the make believe religion.
