Driver Hits 2 Buildings In Brookline In Seconds

BROOKLINE (CBS) -- Harvard Street in Brookline is re-opened after a car hit two buildings within a matter of seconds Friday morning.

A man who works in a store in the 400 block of Harvard Street said he saw a man trying to park at a meter out front, but barreled into the storefront instead. Then, he sped off and made a sharp right slamming into a retaining wall.

The driver was taken away by ambulance. No word on his injuries.
