BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston police are looking for the car that hit and injured a 6-year-old boy in Mattapan Monday night.

Neighbors say the boy was hit so hard that he flipped into the air and the driver must have known he hit something.

The car for which police are looking is described as a maroon Mitsubishi with a gray or tan top.
