Bruins: Chara Hospitalized
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston Bruins star defensman Zdeno Chara was hospitalized last night for dehydration. The team confirmed this morning that Chara was admitted to the hospital.
He is currently being evaluated by the Bruins medical staff.
As of Saturday morning, it was unclear whether Chara would be able to play in Saturday night's playoff game against the Canadiens.
The Bruins official website quotes Coach Claude Julien as saying, "until our medical staff tells us he can't go, he's in (tonight)." Julien added, "they have yet to tell me he can't."
