BOSTON (CBS) – A Boston police officer was involved in a motorcycle accident late Saturday morning.

The crash happened on Dudley Street in Dorchester. The officer was taken to the hospital. Boston police say he was conscious and alert.

At this point, his injuries and the cause of the crash are unclear.
