WBZ Celtics-Knicks Picks, Doc’s Message To Fans
BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Celtics and New York Knicks get their Best-of-7 playoff series underway Sunday at the TD Garden.
Many Celtics fans are a little nervous after a shaky finish to the regular season, but the players are confident they can make another title run.
Doc Rivers was very defensive when asked about his thoughts on fans being worried about the Celtics recent play, and if he understands their concerns heading into the postseason.
“Either you’re a fan or not,” Doc said after practice on Friday. “So ‘No’ would be the answer to that. There’s nothing wrong being disappointed in wins and loses, but we did make a lot of changes and that takes time. If you don’t get that, then I can’t help you. If you want to jump, I’m not going to be there with you.”
