Bruins To Stay In New York Between Montreal Games

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins plan to head back to the US, rather than stay in Montreal between games three and four of their NHL Playoff series against the Canadiens.

With a two-day break between games, the Bruins will travel to Lake Placid, NY following Monday night's game three, where they will practice Tuesday and Wednesday. The team will travel back to Montreal Wednesday night to be ready for Thursday's game four.

The Bruins have been taking a lot of heat in Montreal for Zdeno Chara's March 8th hit on Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty. The hit into the partition left Pacioretty with a severe concussion and fractured vertebrae and Montreal fans seething.

Chara was not suspended for the hit, causing Montreal fans to call 911 and even open an ongoing criminal investigation into the matter.
