BOSTON (CBS) - A flight from Logan Airport destined for the Virgin Islands had to make an emergency landing at JFK Airport in New York on Sunday.

An American Airlines spokesman said the plane went to JFK as a precautionary measure, and that the oxygen masks in the Boeing 757-200 did not deploy. They said they don't know what caused the problem.

The plane was later looked at a maintenance hangar.

No one was hurt in the incident. Passengers were later taken off the plane in New York and put on another plane headed to St. Thomas.
