Lawrence School To Reopen After A Months-Long Mold Problem

LAWRENCE (CBS) - A Lawrence elementary school, which has been closed for most of the school year because of a mold problem, is finally ready to reopen.

The Guilmette Elementary School is expected to be back in business on Saturday.

Guilmette students have been going to school on Saturdays to make up for the time they lost last autumn, when the school was initially shut down.

The mold has since been cleaned. But the school ran into another problem. Vandals recently smashed more than 30 of the building's windows.
