Concrete Slab Falls Off Malden School

MALDEN (CBS) – Kids were back in class Tuesday at the Linden School in Malden, just one day after a slab of concrete fell off the front of the school.

Classes were in session when the concrete chunk smashed to the ground.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Carl Stevens reports from Malden

“Luckily, no one was around, no one got hurt,” said school principal Dale Angelico-Hart.

“We cordoned off the area right away.”

Angeloco-Hart told WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Carl Stevens that engineers came out and removed another piece of concrete that could have fallen before the building inspector examined the building and gave it the okay.
