Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Absent From NFL Meetings

BOSTON (CBS) - One of the NFL's most influential owners is not attending the league's Spring Meetings.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft will miss the NFL's spring meetings in New Orleans due to "a private family medical matter," according to the team.

Team President Jonathan Kraft will vote on behalf of the team. He told ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss on Monday, "Robert is fine and in good health. He is assisting in dealing with a family medical issue. Beyond that, I would ask that you respect the privacy of the situation."
