A Bit Of Relief; Mass. Gas Prices Hold Steady

BOSTON (CBS) – Drivers are finally getting a little bit of relief at the pumps.

After four consecutive weeks of price increases, the average gas price held steady for the third week in March at $3.48 per gallon.

The price is $0.07 below the national average, but still $0.41 higher than at the start of the year, according to AAA Southern New England.

There are deals out there for drivers who do their homework. The AAA survey found regular unleaded gas for as cheap as $3.32.
