Skyrocketing College Costs: Northeastern University Joins $50K Club
BOSTON (CBS) - Northeastern University has joined a growing list of Massachusetts Schools that cost more than $50,000.
For 2011-2012, tuition, room, and board at Northeastern will cost $51,012. That's a 4% increase from this year.
Northeastern says it plans to increase financial aid options.
Thare are now more than a dozen colleges in Massachusetts that charge more than $50,000 a year to attend.
Right up at the top of the list are Boston College, which charges $55,415, and Boston University, which has a price tag of $53,558.
