BOSTON (CBS) - Red Sox manager Terry Francona announced his starting rotation Tuesday morning, a day after he announced Jon Lester will get the ball in the season opener.
John Lackey will get the start April 2nd against the Rangers in the second game of the season, followed by Clay Buchholz, Josh Beckett and Daisuke Matsuzaka.

This will set Lackey to pitch against the New York Yankees April 8th in the Red Sox home opener, with Buchholz and Beckett also going against the Yankees.
Buchholz will conclude the opening series against the Rangers, with Beckett, Matsuzaka and Lester pitching in the Sox three-game set in Cleveland against the Indians.
