Bruins Marchand Suspended 2 Games
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand has been suspended two games for his elbow to the back of R.J. Umberger's head, according to the team's website.
Marchand had a hearing via conference call with the NHL Thursday morning. The hit came in the Bruins' 3-2 shootout win Tuesday night in Columbus.

Although there was no penalty on the play, it was clear Marchand hit Umberger from behind with an elbow to the head.
The rookie has 19 goals and 16 assists in 66 games for the Bruins.
