Local Restaurant Owner Vows To Emerge From Bankruptcy
NEEDHAM (CBS) -- The owner of what was a chain of Indian restaurants is promising to emerge from bankruptcy protection after closing all but one of his locations.
Vinod Kapoor closed the Bombay Club in the South End last month but still operates Masala Art in Needham.
Kapoor tells WBZ that he wants to streamline his business and expand in the future, but court documents peg his debt as high as $10 million with assets of one tenth of that amount.
