SEABROOK, N.H. (CBS) — The nuclear accident in Japan is being watched closely by folks in Seabrook, New Hampshire, site of the last nuclear power plant to be built in America.

There were big protests back in the 70’s when the Seabrook plant was first proposed. The plant wasn’t built until 1986 and didn’t go on line until 1990. A second planned reactor was never built.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Doug Cope has more.
