BOSTON (CBS) — Parishioners of the closed Holy Trinity Church in Boston are trying to block the sale of the South End property.
Holy Trinity is the last Catholic church in Boston to offer masses entirely in Latin. Parishioners are appealing to the Vatican to keep the church open. The church went on the market for $2.3 million this month, three years after the doors closed and the Latin masses moved to a chapel at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
