Pedestrian Struck During Police Chase In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) - Three people were hurt during a dangerous car chase through part of Boston.

Boston Police were pursuing a driver on Columbus Avenue just before 11:30 a.m Thursday.  They say the car had stolen license plates.

That car struck a pedestrian at Columbus Avenue and Dimock Street. At that point, officers ended the chase so they could attend to the pedestrian. That person was taken to the hospital with serious leg injuries.

A short distance down Columbus Avenue, the suspects' vehicle ran into two parked cars. That crash sent two other people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The two suspects took off running. Officers eventually caught up with the two suspects and both were arrested.
