BOSTON (CBS) – Gas prices are up and so is traffic.

Boston now has the eighth worst commute nationwide, according to a new survey.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Mark Katic reports

The report by INRIX, a provider of traffic and navigation services, claims traffic congestion in the country’s biggest cities was up 11-percent last year.

Los Angeles is the most traffic-congested city. New York is second and Chicago third.

According to INRIX, last year Americans drove one trillion miles, close to the record level set back in 2007.
