Bruins Kampfer Out A Week With Mild Concussion
BOSTON (CBS) – Bruins defenseman Steve Kampfer is out a week with a concussion, according to the team’s website.
Kampfer, who scored the Bruins’ first goal in a 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday, suffered a mild concussion on a hit during the second period. Coach Claude Julien said the rookie will be out at least a week, and the Bruins expect to make a roster move before Saturday’s game against the Penguins.
Kampfer has played in 35 games this season, scoring five goals and five assists.
