Firefighters from Massachusetts and Rhode Island battled the fire on Sunday.
WOONSOCKET, R.I. (AP) — Fire officials in Woonsocket are blaming arson for a weekend fire at an abandoned mill complex that forced evacuations in the surrounding neighborhood.
Lt. Francis Dunton, Woonsocket’s assistant fire marshal, tells WPRI-TV on Wednesday that investigators have determined the fire at the vacant Seville Dye Company was intentionally set.
He says they are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information in the case.
