Someone threw rocks at the window during school vacation last week, leaving a six-by-six inch hole in the glass, causing more than $20,000 worth of damage.

From the outside, the window was supposed to be protected by plexi-glass, but now that protective barrier also has holes and cracks in four spots.

Anyone with information is asked to call Newton Police at (617)-796-2121.

Make each and every one of these hoodlum vandals clean the church, I mean work them , make them scrum the pews with a toothbrush and a coffee cup full of soap and tell them get it clean….. next make them wash the steps ;eading into the church with a brush, scrub a dub dub , next, make them attend church every evening and be on their knees praying, praying that the community will not make them walk on their knees to and from the church as if in a pilgramage,,,, next make them stand in front of the whole congregation and plead for their sins to be banished, make them help those in need for the next month, do odd jobs, build their character and then have them do an essay on the wrong they did and present it to the church and community at an assembely for all to hear.. NOW THATS PUNISHMENT

We’re sad about our window, but care more about broken hearts. Come meet the One who came to heal the broken-hearted. –Pastor Rob, Newton Presbyterian Church
