Lynn Store Owner Fends Off Robber With Steel Rod
LYNN (CBS) -- She may be little, but she's nothing to shake a stick at. But she may shake a stick at you if you try to rob her store.

In the eight years Bo Thach has owned Arnold's Bakery Outlet in Lynn she's been robbed twice. So when a man walked up to her counter Monday, pulled out a knife and demanded money, Thach was ready.

She pulled out a four-foot piece of rebar that a friend who works in construction had given her and she started swinging. After a few swings, the would-be robber left.
"I feel like it's not right for people to come in and demand money when you work so hard," she said.
The suspect is still at large.
