BOSTON (CBS) - Celtics guard Delonte West cannot stay healthy.
Just three games after returning from a broken wrist, West sprained his ankle in practice and will miss Monday night’s game in Utah, Julian Benbow of the Boston Globe reports. West is questionable when the Celtics return home Wednesday night against Phoenix.
This will leave the Celtics very thin at the point guard position, after trading backup point guard Nate Robinson to the Oklahoma City Thunder last week along with center Kendrick Perkins.
Rookie Avery Bradley and guard Von Wafer could step into the backup role until West returns, or the Celtics add a veteran point guard to the mix.

In eight games this season, West is averaging 6.6 points and 2.3 assists per game.
