Hamilton-Wenham School Dismissed Due To Leaky Roof

HAMILTON (CBS) - A leaky roof led to an early dismissal for students at Hamilton-Wenham High School on Monday.

Water poured into the building's electrical room.

After someone noticed a burning electrical odor, the school was evacuated as a precaution.

"The principal pulled the fire alarm and evacuated all the students. We came in and put up a supply to deflect the water and the electrical inspector shut down the power," said Phillip Stevens, a firefighter.

The roof has been patched.

There will be school on Tuesday.
