Duxbury Firefighter Faces Drunk Driving Charges In Court
DUXBURY (CBS) - A veteran Duxbury firefighter and part-time police officer appeared in court on Monday to face charges in drunken hit-and-run crash.
John Thomas, 53, allegedly was drunk when he crashed back on Dec. 29.
Police say Thomas was wearing his police uniform, and carrying his town-issued gun at the time of the crash.
He later resigned from the police force, but has remained on sick leave from the fire department.
