CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – A Cambridge police officer was injured in a multi-car accident on Saturday.

The officer’s cruiser rolled over at the intersection of Binney Street and Fulkerson Street while he was rushing to an emergency call in Cambridge. He was hit by another vehicle.

Police officials said all people involved in the crash were shaken up, but the officer “got the worst of it.” He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

There were no serious injuries reported.

Was he or she on a call? How is he/she? The officer got the worst of it, what dose that mean?

    Get well soon.

“On A Call” or not the Laws of Physics and Motion Still apply. I’m certain that one of the other drivers will Be “Charged” with something when the Police Car was the Danger because he was Driving TOO FAST ” On A Call” or not.
If he never makes it to the call he does no one any good.

Just guessing, but I’ll bet the officer didn’t have a green light, and the car that hit him did? Emergency or not, he still needs to use caution when entering an intersection, when he doesn’t have a green light.

DRIVE FAST and you’ll never make it to the call….DRIVE SMART and you’ll get there every time and you won’t kill anyone on the way.
