Heavy, Wet Snow Blanketing NH

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) - We've had our share of big storms this year, but state police in New Hampshire said Friday was the worst day on the roads this winter.

Many drivers said the conditions got worse every mile they traveled north through the Granite State.

WBZ-TV's Jim Smith reports.

State police officers said there were at least 100 spin-outs across the state.

The Friday of February school vacation week is historically one of the busiest travel days in New Hampshire, with people from Massachusetts traveling back and forth.
