Freetown Dog On Death Row Given Another Chance

FREETOWN (CBS) - A golden retriever that was on death row in Freetown has been given another chance.

Skippy was originally ordered euthanized after he bit his owner's one-year old granddaughter. Supporters then launched a campaign to save the dog.

Thursday night, the board of selectmen said the dog could live if he gets neutered and if he is given a positive evaluation by an animal behavior specialist.
