Celtics Trade Daniels To Kings For Cash
BOSTON (CBS) - Add Marquis Daniels to the list of Celtics traded on Thursday.
The Celtics traded the injured forward to the Sacramento Kings for cash, WBZ-TV has confirmed.
Ken Berger of CBS Sports first reported the trade via his twitter account.
Daniels has been out since bruising his spine February 6th against the Orlando Magic. He is expected to miss the rest of the season, but the move frees up another roster spot for the Celtics if they want to add another veteran.
This is the third trade of a busy deadline day for the Celtics, who also traded center Kendrick Perkins and guard Nate Robinson to Oklahoma City for forward Jeff Gree and center Nenad Krystic. The Celtics also traded rookies Semeh Erden and Luke Harangody to Cleveland for a second round draft pick.

Clearing up another roster spot can only mean the Celtics intend on filling it. Stay tuned for more updates.
