Curious About Dr. Nathanson
Why didn't WBZ report the death of Bernard Nathanson? He was one of the founders of NARAL and after seeing his work on ultrasound, joined the prolife cause (would it have been reported if he was still prochoice) - Jane, Norton
While I can't tell you the thought process of every newscast producer here, I can post Jane's comment.
No matter which side you are on in the abortion debate Dr. Nathanson is an important and controversial figure as a doctor who, at first performed abortions and supported abortion rights, and then opposed them. He died on Feb. 21st at the age of 84.
