BOSTON (CBS) – Phil Keoghan, the host of CBS’s The Amazing Race, stopped in Boston this week to get people psyched up for the 18th season. This race, dubbed Unfinished Business, features returning teams who want another shot at winning.

WBZ-TV’s David Wade put Keoghan through five questions, and he did not fail to surprise.

What’s the most amazing adventure you’ve been on?

So what haven’t you done? What’s on your bucket list?

If The Amazing Race were to run a leg through Boston, what would make a good detour?

Where do the teams sleep? Do you ever put them up in hotels?

Yankees or Red Sox?

The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business debuts on February 20 at 8 p.m. on WBZ-TV.

Keoghan is also in Boston to promote his new documentary film entitled “The Ride.” The film follows his 3,500-mile bike ride from Los Angeles to New York City. His coast-to-coast journey generated more than $500,000 for the National MS Society. There is a special screening in Boston on Wednesday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m. at The Regal Fenway Stadium 13 Theatre, hosted by Phil himself. Proceeds from the screening will benefit the National MS Society.

  1. Marilyn LaCamera says:

After being a fan of the Race for many many seasons, I’ve come to believe that it is fixed. This past Sunday “the cowboys” were beaten by three teams that cheated. These teams did not measure the distance of Liechtenstein by themselves – they were told the distance by someone who had the right number and was waiting for a bus. All of these people Including the Globetrotters should have been penalized. That is why I think it is fixed.
