Jay Leno Named 2011 Hasty Pudding Man Of The Year

CAMBRIDGE (CBS) — Hometown boy Jay Leno is this year’s Hasty Pudding Man of the Year.

The comedian was honored Friday night at Harvard University.

The Hasty Pudding Man of the Year is given annually to performers who “have made a lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.” Last year’s winner was Justin Timberlake.

This year’s Woman of the Year is Julianne Moore.

    As I said when this first made the News a couple of weeks ago…”Jay left Harvard with a Pudding Pot,Conan left with a Degree.

    Hasty Pudding started in 1844…..(Some Say 1795)…. It took only 167 years for it to reach the bottom of the Barrel.
