BOSTON (CBS) – Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli said Friday afternoon that center Marc Savard met with team doctors, but did not have an update on the injured center.

“I’m meeting with Marc and his agent over the weekend,” Chiarelli said. “I would think next week we’ll have something as far as a global status.”
