Inmate Walks Away From Beacon Hill Cleaning Detail

BOSTON (CBS) – An inmate who was part of a Department of Corrections cleaning crew walked away from his job near the State House Friday morning.

39-year-old Milton Walker has not been found.

Corrections Department spokeswoman Diane Wiffin said Walker was declared a “walkaway” at 10:30 a.m.

Authorities later found his orange jumpsuit.

He was serving a 3-to-6 year sentence for motor vehicle theft, breaking and entering and larceny.

  • Really!

He, uh, walked away….so was supposed to be watching him? I know, they lost sight of him by the large snowbanks.

  • gramps

He looks like a fine upstanding fellow, today was a beautiful day for a little ‘constitutional stroll’ & a breath of fresh air ….I’ll bet he’s thinking about a run for ‘Elected Office’, one of the two open seats on ‘the hill’ & City Hall……….

State or local Government, which will he choose…?

  • Cynic

Wait until the Snowbanks melt…..Maybe he didn’t walk away.
