The Terriers (11-13, 6-4) led 40-32 at halftime and extended their lead to as many as 19, 78-59, in the second thanks to a 61.5-percent second-half shooting performance (16 of 26).

Darryl Partin scored 17, D.J. Irving added 16, Dom Morris 12 and Matt Griffin 11 for Boston, which finished 31 of 59 from the field overall (52.5 percent), including 11 of 23 from 3-point range (47.8 percent).

Maine (14-8, 8-2) trailed 86-69 after a 3-pointer from Holland with 3:13 left to play and scored nine straight to close the deficit to 86-78 with 40 seconds to go.
