Officials: Report Of Baby Kidnapping From Hospital Just A Drill

BOSTON (CBS) - When the call came in that a baby had been kidnapped at a local hospital, police rushed to the scene only to find it was just a drill.

Federal law says Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is required to run drills like this every six months.

Normally, the police are notified ahead of time.

Police and hospital officials are now trying to figure why there was a breakdown in communication this time around.
