BROOKLINE (CBS) – Red Sox fans now won’t be able to expect to get a good deal on parking in Brookline come game day.

Brookline has approved a plan to raise rates at meters near Fenway Park on game days. Parking will end up costing $22.

In the past, business owners have complained Sox fans take up too many spaces. Brookline said raising rates could bring in $35,000 more per year for the town.

  1. DStein says:

Boycott Brookline and all the businesses in Brookline. There, that will fix their parking “problem”. They can have all the empty spaces to themselves….with no revenue coming in.

Boycott them for making parents sign a permission slip for their kids to recite the Pledge of Allegiance…..just a bunch of America haters.
