Felger & Mazz: Who Is To Blame For The Loss?

Felger and Massarotti were joined in studio by Brian Lowe of Patriots.com to discuss the fallout from this weekends Patriots 28-21 loss to the New York Jets. Are the Patriots still in a good position to compete in the future?

Can the Patriots win when it matters anymore? Who is to blame for the loss? How unprepared were the Patriots for this game?

Are there any common themes in the last 3 Patriots playoff loses?

Brady is begging to play like Bledsoe in big games… no fire in the belly look at how the team took the field. Watch their demeanor… they had no fire even coming out of the tunnel… maybe they didn’t realize how big a game this was…being there at the game was torture to watch.. Without a 2003 type Defense they are not going to win the tough lower scoring games like Sunday…They need to build a Defense that can win games 12-0 like they did against Miami and Dallas in 2003.. when they get to that point we will see them in the Super Bowl again until then it will be 1 and done as far as playoffs…

Also being a die hard fan, it was embarrassing to c the stadium half empty down 14-11 in the beginning of the 4th quarter, I don’t know why there r so many band wagoners, I was there until there were 0:00 on the clock, the 30,000 band wagoners that left make me want to vomit, those r the people that ask u to sit down on 3rd down, it’s sad

I was surprised that the Pats didn’t play well in the Jets game. You just knew that something was not going to turn out well when Brady was intercepted on that first drive to the goal line after more than 300 plus throws of not being intercepted. Other things weren’t working for them either, so it just was a totally bad game overall. I don’t know how you regroup from this point on. Hope next year they can come back and get past that first elimination game should they go that far. It was a very sad day.
