NEW YORK (AP) — The Jets’ upset of the rival New England Patriots drew the highest preliminary television rating for a divisional playoff game in 14 years.

New York’s 28-21 win Sunday on CBS earned a 26.2 overnight rating and 44 share. The network said Monday it was the best rating for this round since Dallas-Carolina in January 1997.

I can’t say I feel bad for pat fans. They sound like a bunch of sore losers. I think the Jets should some heart. I thought they we’re gonna lose but showed they wanted it more. Pats have been to the superbowl. It’s time to let another team get that chance. I will keep my fingers crossed that the Jets make it all the way but if not I will not be crying like the Pats fans are.
