Wareham Man Hospitalized After House Fire

WAREHAM (CBS) -- A Wareham man was taken to the hospital Saturday morning with burns from a fire at his home.

Fire officials say Joseph Peterson was taken by Medflight to Brigham and Women's Hospital to be treated for burns and smoke inhalation.

The fire at his house on Sandwich Road started around 10:30 a.m.

A firefighter was also injured, but authorities say not seriously.

The home is a total loss. The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
