BOSTON (CBS) - Looking for something entertaining for yourself or your family this weekend? Check out some of these suggestions from your CBSBoston team.

Myopia Sled Dog Races

Forget the Iditarod, check out the largest sled dog race on the East Coast right here in New England. It's the second annual Myopia Sled Dog Races, Saturday and Sunday at Appleton Farms on Route 1A in Ipswich and Hamilton. Mushers and their sled dogs will race in events ranging from 4 to 11 miles. The races start at 9 a.m. Admission is free.

Hot Stove, Cool Music

The annual charity concert featuring some well known names from the Boston music and sports scenes is Saturday night at the Paradise. Check out the musical talents of Red Sox GM Theo Epstein, former Red Sox pitcher Bronson Arroyo, as well as Boston musicians Kay Hanley, The Lemonheads and Buffalo Tom. Proceeds benefit local children's charities through The Foundation To Be Named Later. Tickets $40

Beer Summit Winter Jubilee

Beer lovers rejoice. More than 50 brewers will have their wares for sampling at the Park Plaza on Friday night, Saturday day and night. Tickets are $40 per session and include ten samples. You can choose from the likes of Dogfish, Cisco, Tuckerman, Otter Creek, Woodchuck Cider and more.

Museum of Fine Art Open House

The MFA celebrates the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday with a free open house. Guests can access the exhibit halls and attend musical performances, art activities and more. Open 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Boston Children's Chorus MLK Concert

The award winning Boston Children's Chorus performs Monday evening at the New England Conservatory. Tickets start at $25 for the 6:45 p.m. tribute concert featuring Disney Channel stars Christopher and Kyle Massey.

Jam Time Grand Opening

Celebrate the grand opening of a new indoor playspace in Metrowest. Jam Time is now open in Maynard. On Saturday they'll be celebrating their opening with free admission between 10 a.m and 4 p.m. There will be a children's musican, magic shows, face painting, juggling, giveaways and more.
