Woman Arrested After Armed Robbery At Georgetown Bank
GEORGETOWN (CBS) – A 21-year-old woman was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a bank in Georgetown on Friday.
Police said the robbery occurred at the TD Bank on 62 Central Street. Bank employees reported that a woman wearing a hooded sweatshirt handed the teller a note indicating she was armed and left the bank with some cash.
Authorities investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle that was in the area prior to the robbery with two males inside.
State troopers later pulled over that vehicle in Saugus and arrested three people inside.
