FBI Asks For Help Finding Bank Robbers

BOSTON (CBS) -- The FBI is asking for help in identifying and finding the men who robbed six Massachusetts banks since mid-December.

The FBI says the men may be acting together and robbed banks in Lynnfield, Reading, Malden, Westford, Salem and Burlington.

The men are considered armed and dangerous. Authorities say they threatened to harm bank employees in each robbery.

During the robbery in Malden, police say the suspect fired his gun while leaving the bank.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to arrests and charges. The Massachusetts Bankers Association Tip Program is offering an additional $5,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 617-742-5533.
